How do I activate my AppSumo deal?​

After purchasing on AppSumo, use the redemption flow from your AppSumo account and follow the activation steps to connect your deal to your Icanpreneur account. Once activated, you can see your plan details inside Icanpreneur under My Subscription.

Does the AppSumo deal include lifetime access?​

Yes. The AppSumo deal gives you lifetime access to the tier you purchased, according to the deal terms and the features included in that tier.

What is included in each AppSumo tier?​

Each AppSumo tier includes lifetime access, a monthly AI credit allowance, and a set number of seats.

At a high level:

  • Tier 1 includes 1 active startup workspace, 1 seat, and 8,000 monthly AI credits
  • Tier 2 includes unlimited active startup workspaces, 3 seats, and 20,000 monthly AI credits
  • Tier 3 includes unlimited active startup workspaces, 5 internal team seats, and 40,000 monthly AI credits
  • Tier 4 includes unlimited active startup workspaces, 10 seats, and 80,000 monthly AI credits
  • Tier 5 includes unlimited active startup workspaces, 15 seats, 120,000 monthly AI credits, and exclusive white-labeled AI-led interview capabilities

All tiers include the core Icanpreneur experience. Higher tiers mainly increase capacity and team access. Tier 3 also includes features for handing off startup workspaces to clients and earning referral revenue. Tier 4 is the best pure capacity upgrade. Tier 5 adds white-labeled AI-led interviews for agencies, consultants, and teams that run research under their own brand.

What does "project" mean in the AppSumo tiers?​

On AppSumo, "project" means a startup workspace in Icanpreneur.

A startup workspace is the dedicated place where you build, validate, and grow one specific idea, business, or growth opportunity.

How do AppSumo team seats work?​

Seats determine how many people can collaborate under your AppSumo tier.

  • Tier 1 includes 1 seat
  • Tier 2 includes 3 seats
  • Tier 3 includes 5 seats
  • Tier 4 includes 10 seats
  • Tier 5 includes 15 seats

Tier 3 and above seats are especially useful if you work with clients, advise startups, or run validation and strategy work for others.

Can I buy add-on AI credits on top of my AppSumo plan?​

Yes. You can buy add-on AI credits on top of your AppSumo plan to give yourself a larger credit pool for more extensive work.

Where can I see my current AppSumo tier details?​

You can see your current AppSumo plan details inside Icanpreneur under My Subscription.

Do AppSumo customers get future updates?​

Yes. AppSumo customers keep lifetime access to the tier they purchased. Updates and improvements to features already included in that tier stay included. Completely new add-ons, separate offerings, or higher-tier-only capabilities may require an upgrade or separate purchase.

What is 1-click workspace transfer?​

1-click workspace transfer is a Tier 3 feature that makes it easier to hand off a startup workspace to a client after helping them through validation and strategy work.

What is auto-referral?​

Auto-referral is a Tier 3 feature that gives the Tier 3 user 15% revenue share on the first 12 months of billing for qualifying customers they refer, according to the program terms.

To use it, go to Subscriptions → Referrals & Earnings. After clicking Referrals & Earnings, you will be asked to log in via PayPal before accessing your affiliate dashboard.

Once you are in the dashboard, copy your auto-referral link and share it with a founder, client, teammate, or advisor. If they buy Icanpreneur through your link, you receive 15% revenue share, according to the program terms.

What are white-labeled AI-led interviews?​

White-labeled AI-led interviews are a Tier 5 feature that lets you customize the participant-facing AI-led interview experience with your own brand.

With Tier 5, you can:

  • Add your logo and display your startup or agency name
  • Adjust the welcome page background color
  • Provide a support email shown to participants
  • Embed AI-led interviews directly on your own website or landing page
  • Use a custom domain for AI-led interviews so participants access the interview under your own domain

The participant experiences the interview under your brand, while Icanpreneur powers the interview flow, transcripts, and insights behind the scenes.

This applies to the external AI-led interview experience participants see — including interview welcome pages, the interview chat, and embedded AI-led interviews. The internal Icanpreneur platform and workspace remain Icanpreneur-branded.

How do I configure AI-led interview branding?​

To configure AI-led interview branding, open the Settings page of your startup. Under AI-led Interview Branding, you will find two options:

  • Customize branding — set your logo, name, background color, and support email
  • Configure custom domain — set up a custom domain for AI-led interviews

What is the custom domain for AI-led interviews?​

Custom domain for AI-led interviews is a Tier 5 feature that lets you present AI-led interviews under your own domain. Instead of participants receiving a generic link, they access the interview through a branded URL on your own domain.

What is the embeddable AI-led interview widget?​

The embeddable AI-led interview widget is a Tier 5 feature that lets you embed AI-led interviews directly on your own website or landing page. This makes it easier to collect customer input from existing traffic, campaign pages, communities, or client-facing sites without sending participants to an external link.

To embed the interview widget - open the research you want to use on your website and in the AI-led interview section use the Get embed code button.

Who is Tier 5 for?​

Tier 5 is for agencies, consultants, startup coaches, venture studios, and teams that run research with clients, portfolio companies, or external audiences and want the participant experience to feel like their own.

If you send AI-led interview links to people outside your team and want those participants to experience the research under your brand, Tier 5 is the right tier.
