Can I use Icanpreneur with ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI tools?​

Yes. You can connect Icanpreneur to ChatGPT, Claude, or any AI tool that supports remote MCP connections. Your assistant can then retrieve your saved Canvas, research, interviews, and documents, create or update work in Icanpreneur, and ask your Buyer Personas for feedback.

What is MCP?​

MCP, or Model Context Protocol, is the connection that lets an AI assistant use Icanpreneur's tools. You add Icanpreneur to your assistant manually using a server URL, so you do not need to find Icanpreneur in an app directory.

What do I need to connect?​

You need an Icanpreneur account with an active license or an active trial, and an assistant that supports remote MCP connections. Your assistant's plan or organization settings may restrict which connections and actions are available.

How do I set up the connection?​

In your assistant's connector or MCP settings, add a server named Icanpreneur with this URL and OAuth 2.0 authentication:

When redirected, log in to your Icanpreneur account. You connect once per assistant, then tell it which workspace and item you want to work with.

What can my assistant do in Icanpreneur?​

Your assistant can:

  • Review and refine your Canvas and customer segments
  • Create and explore research, and compare evidence
  • Prepare interview scripts, set up AI-led interviews, and import existing interviews
  • Ask your Buyer Personas for feedback
  • Create positioning, messaging, landing pages, and sales decks
  • Create startup workspaces and invite teammates

It can only access workspaces and perform actions allowed by your Icanpreneur permissions.

Are changes from my AI conversation saved in Icanpreneur automatically?​

No. Discussing a suggestion does not update your workspace. When you ask the assistant to create or update Canvas items, research, scripts, interviews, notes, or GTM assets, those changes are saved in Icanpreneur.

Ask the assistant to propose changes first if you want to review them before they are saved.

Can I talk to my Buyer Persona from ChatGPT or Claude?​

Yes. Ask your assistant to use your Icanpreneur Buyer Persona by name. Icanpreneur generates the persona's response using its research context, so the feedback is grounded in the evidence behind your persona.

Does using Icanpreneur through an AI tool use credits?​

Reading saved information uses no Icanpreneur AI credits. Buyer Persona answers and other Icanpreneur AI operations, such as generating interview scripts or GTM assets, use your existing Icanpreneur credit pool at the platform's standard rates.

Your ChatGPT, Claude, or other assistant subscription is separate.

What data does my AI assistant receive?​

Your assistant receives the information Icanpreneur returns when it uses the connection. The AI provider's data-handling terms and settings also apply.

Why can't I see my workspace or persona?​

Check that you connected the right Icanpreneur account and that your license or trial is active. Then ask the assistant to list the workspaces you can access.
